Ask Tarek Sousou what he’s passionate about, and he’ll tell you it is the health of his patients.

That singular focus on patient care is what brought Dr. Sousou to Interlakes Oncology and Hematology.

“I like Interlakes because they have a solid reputation, excellent clinicians and the clinical aspect was very important to me. I’m excited to work in a group practice that has such an emphasis on patient care.”

Dr. Sousou graduated with honors from Syracuse University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. He attended the State University of New York Upstate Medical University and went on to a residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Rochester Medical Center.

He has recently completed a fellowship in Oncology and Hematology at the University of Rochester Medical Center and joined Interlakes in July, 2011
